This short film follows LaShawn Miller, a farmer and community leader who’s growing fresh, culturally affirming food and creating jobs through Finding Justice: A Flower and Vegetable Garden. But the challenges they face — from limited food access to lack of public investment — are the result of policy decisions. The Good Food Purchasing Act offers a path forward, ensuring that public dollars support local economies and farmers like LaShawn.
This video was produced through a collaboration between Krantz Strategies and videographer Milo Barsanti-Gonzalez. Special thanks to LaShawn Miller of Finding Justice Garden for sharing their story.
